About UNIT

UNIT is a Freelance Web Development Company Located between York and Selby in North Yorkshire, with specific expertise in building and maintaining websites built on the WordPress platform.

I have been working as a web developer for many years, and working as a WordPress developer for about ten years. Recently I spent five years working inside a large and successful WordPress agency as a senior developer. This has brought me a wealth of experience working on many different types of projects. From WooCommerce shops for the medical sector, books, travel booking and just about anything else that can be sold online, to marketing sites, virtual offices, historical databases and just about anything you can think of, I have built it!

About me.

Of course I have a life outside of the Web Development world. I am an amateur musician at present playing double bass in a folk/rock outfit, I also enjoy the normal things in life such as nature, real ales & spending as much time as possible with my family. Having children has been a great thing for me & has given me a new appreciation of life & the World in general.
